Quality Assurance
A finished component is only as good as the verification behind it. Powernox's quality-control capabilities include coating thickness measurement, hardness testing, and surface roughness testing, with QA documentation supplied where applicable.
What It Does
Verification, not just visual inspection.
A hardened or coated surface can look correct and still miss the job's specification. Measurement instruments — thickness gauges, hardness testers, and surface roughness testers — confirm that a finished component actually meets the hardness, thickness, and finish it was ordered against, before it ships.
Quality verification supports all three core services and is reviewed according to each job's specification, not applied as a generic checklist.
Coating Thickness Measurement
Confirms the plated or coated layer meets the required thickness for the job.
Hardness Testing
Verifies surface hardness against the required Vickers (HV) or Rockwell (HRC) specification.
Surface Roughness Testing
Checks the finished surface against the required roughness or finish specification.
QA Documentation
Supplied with jobs where applicable, to support verification and traceability.
How It Works
From specification to verified delivery.
Specification Review
The job's required hardness, thickness, or finish is confirmed before work begins.
Measurement & Testing
Coating thickness, hardness, and surface roughness are measured as relevant to the service.
Documentation
QA documentation is supplied with the job where applicable.
Delivery
Verified components are released only once they meet the job's specification.
